Robert Liljenwall | Principal
Robert Liljenwall has served as Editor, Co-Editor or contributing author of The Power of Marketing at Retail for all four editions. Robert is a graduate of San Jose State University with a BA in Journalism and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He has taught strategic marketing and brand management at UCLA Extension for 17 years and was awarded Distinguished Instructor of the Year in 2007. He also is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at the University of Redlands. Liljenwall served as Director of Advertising and Promotion for Disneyland and Vice President-Marketing for the RMS Queen Mary and Spruce Goose. He has served as a leading marketing, branding, and strategic planning consultant for Fortune 500 companies and was President/CEO for Real Time Sports Network, one of the first nationwide interactive in-store broadcasting and kiosk firms. He is a writer, lecturer, and consultant on retail marketing and serves as a creative consultant for the attraction, entertainment and casino industries. He lives in Pasadena, CA.
