Alexandria, VA – School is out for summer, but for marketing at retail’s best and brightest the summer marks the beginning of the industry’s most intense and rewarding education program – POPAI University’s Masters Program. Offering a unique blend of classroom instruction and real world application, attendees will be prepared to handle anything that comes their way in the ever-changing world of marketing at retail.
“While the competition is soaking up the sun this summer, POPAI University’s Masters Program students will be soaking up the knowledge,” said Richard Winter, POPAI President. “Not only do our students advance their marketing at retail knowledge, they gain exposure to some of the most cutting edge insights, and they also build a community of colleagues to call upon as a lifetime resource.”
Now in its sixth year and boasting nearly 250 alumni, the Masters Program promises to deliver even greater content and value to attendees. For the first time ever, POPAI University is offering two education tracks – one for newcomers and another for advanced professionals and alumni. Covering a wide range of topics from sustainability to digital signage to shopper insights and much more, the demand has been overwhelming to continue offering educational value and resources to the alumni of the Masters Program.
“We look forward to seeing plenty of new faces at POPAI University’s Masters Program,” said POPAI Board of Directors Chair Leslie Nagy, Director, Marketing Services & Licensing Pepsi North American Beverage. “ However, I know that POPAI University’s Faculty remains eager to see the return of familiar faces and to garner feedback about how they have applied what they learned inside the classroom to real world situations.”
POPAI University’s Masters Program will be held on June 14 – 16, 2010 in Chicago, Ill. Participants enrolled in POPAI University Masters Program will:
